On Thursday 23rd, 1200 Eversource customers lost power after a dump truck reportedly struck a utility pole causing at least three poles to snap in a section of Route 28 in Yarmouth. By 3 PM, Eversource reduced the outage to 241 customers.

Damage reports are starting to come in after severe weather moved across Cape Cod late Saturday afternoon into the early evening. 3,900 Eversource customers were without power in Yarmouth. Another 735 customers were out in Falmouth, 1,163 customers are out in Dennis as well.
